Thanksgiving on the Shore

My grandparent's house is one of my favorite retreats, it is a relaxing place to spend time with family, especially on a holiday like Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for all of the people in my life and spending time with family is one of my favorite things to do. The view of the Chesapeake Bay on one side and the thick forest on the other is so peaceful and the perfect way to spend this holiday. Beni is happy to run free and play frisbee. All seasons are beautiful on Taylors Island but this time is my favorite, all you need is a cozy sweater and your boyfriend jeans. My Neely cardi is perfect for this time of year, it is oversized, has pockets and is so comfortable. I paired it with my blue free people tank and my boyfriends for a casual look. Pair the oversized sweater and tank with leggings and riding boots for another way to wear this outfit! The Free People tank, my new obsession, is available in many colors and it is a great basic for underneath all of your winter-wear.

Every winter I try to find a couple of classic sweaters to add to my collection along with new undershirts to add a pop of color. Mixing and matching your old and new winter clothes will freshen up your wardrobe and open up endless looks for all winter long!
This is exactly where I will be spending my Thanksgiving and I am so excited for it! I hope that everyone has a beautiful Thanksgiving with their loved ones!

An Embellished Labor Day Weekend

Crop tops have been a huge trend this summer and this long weekend is the perfect time to try out the look! Whether you are going to the beach and are going to stay casual or you are going to be out on the town with a more dressed up look, you can rock a crop top and revel in this beautiful weather! My bright pink Kate Spade purse has been my favorite purchase of the summer. It matches so many different looks as well as brightens them up! It holds everything that I need and I know it will be a staple in my closet for a long time!

Below are a few photos from Gillian's wedding shower, her twin Gabby did an AMAZING job at putting it all together. We were in the suburbs of Nashville and had the most elegant tea party!
