New Years Day Lounging

Happy New Year! I cannot believe it is 2016 but here we go on a brand new adventure. I hope everyone had an amazing NYE with their friends and family. Lets be real, January 1st is all about relaxing and recovering, thats all we will be doing in our household today. I am also writing up some New Years resolutions, it's always nice to reflect on the past year and make plans for the future. I love the quote "A goal without a plan is just a wish". The future is looking really bright in many aspects and I am excited to get started! Thanks for all of the support, it means everything. I am all about being stylishly comfortable, especially with colder weather. Anything paired with leggings falls in that category for me, so, when I found this tunic that is also plaid I got super excited! The leggings are nylon and have a shine to them which makes them a little dressier than your everyday cotton. Drunk on You and High on Summertime

My favorite summer time activity is getting together with friends for dinner and drinks. And this past Saturday that is exactly what I did! It was so hot that I wanted to be casual and comfortable and this was the perfect outfit. I love this top because it is a fun twist on the cold shoulder look we all know and love.
