Chillin' with no Makeup On

Our American Bulldog, Beni, loves to play frisbee, it is without a doubt his favorite activity. Anytime Steve and I get the chance we take him to the park and that is when he is happiest. We always go to the nearby high school and play until he is tired. I don't usually post athletic wear but I had to share this outfit because its one of my favorites. A local company called Route One Apparel made this shirt and it encompasses everything Maryland is about (the mauve leggings really show my Ravens pride). These leggings are really comfortable and flattering and the tie around the legs add a unique element that I love. Date Night

The past few weeks have been crazy (in the best way possible) so a date night with my man was much needed. We decided on the typical dinner and a movie and it was so nice to spend some quality time together. We went and saw Sausage Party and it was funny, but honestly I would recommend waiting until it comes out On Demand to watch it.

White Party

This past Friday I went to a wedding shower and it was a white party, it was such a good time celebrating my friends who will be married in a few short months! I found this dress on sale at a local store called Cohen's and thought it would be perfect for the event, it is unavailable there but it is currently on sale through the designer. It is such a great deal for such a pretty dress, it is a classic look that can be worn over and over again. I am still recovering from such an amazing weekend, we made some great memories and I cannot wait until we can get everyone together again. I do not recover the way I used to but it was so worth it! This dress was perfect for catching up on work, lounging and running errands. It fits true to size and would transition beautifully into the fall, all you need is a leather jacket and over the knee boots! It comes in 9 different colors and it is only $44, the charcoal and olive are my other favorites! Engagement Party

We had such a great time at our engagement party. Friends flew in from Chicago and having everyone from both of our hometowns together was a first and so much fun. It was such a busy day for me that I forgot to take pictures of all of the decor, I am sad about it because it looked so good but I found a few that I added below. I will need to hire someone to take photos at the next event! The dress I wore was perfect for the occasion, it was flattering and comfortable. Since it was so hot one of my bridesmaids did a braided hairstyle for me and it was perfect, it kept my hair off my neck and something a little different than usual! It was a great day and I am so thankful of my parents and Steve's parents, they worked so hard to help prepare for the party. Links to purchase my dress are below!
