I Love NYC

I had the best time in NYC last weekend. I was able to spend some time with some friends I grew up with as well as meet some amazing women at a fashion and beauty conference. Not only did I meet amazing people with big dreams but I got to listen to a variety of speakers who are successful entrepreneurs that followed their dreams and created their own path. Including a few of my favorites: Jacey Duprie from Damsel in Dior, Christine Cameron from My Style Pill and Catt Sadler from E! News and the Catt Walk. The whole day was so inspiring and I am so happy I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and into a room with people who are passionate about the same things as I am.

My look was put together by making sure that I would be comfortable, fashion forward and able to layer incase it was too hot or too cold. My top is actually a bodysuit and there are cut outs down the arms, my favorite thing about bodysuits is that everything stays in place and you don't have to fuss a lot! This skirt is suede and I am loving the double lace up look, it is sold out in this color but you can add yourself to the restock list or purchase it in the black color way! You already know the story on how I got this Tory Burch coat and yes I wear it everywhere. My purse is a few years old but always a great winter bag year after year, I found it online being resold and it is under $100! Lastly, my boots are from last year but I found a very similar pair for under $100 as well! Links to purchase my whole look are below!

Headed out to get some chipotle for lunch! Blush and army green is my new favorite color combo, I am loving how they compliment each other. These piece also go with so many other things that mixing and matching is a must. These pants are sold out but I have linked a few others that I have has my eye on as well. These mules are the perfect fall shoe, I am obsessed with them and wear them all the time. They are comfortable and match everything! Links to purchase this look are below!

White Party

This past Friday I went to a wedding shower and it was a white party, it was such a good time celebrating my friends who will be married in a few short months! I found this dress on sale at a local store called Cohen's and thought it would be perfect for the event, it is unavailable there but it is currently on sale through the designer. It is such a great deal for such a pretty dress, it is a classic look that can be worn over and over again. To make it even better they are offering an extra 30% off sale items with code: stillsummer16! I love the floral sash and gold pieces that ties it all together. I accessorized it with my blush Kate Spade purse and my brown JustFab heels. Links to purchase this look are below, I hope you have a great week!

FashionEASTa Event

My girlfriends and I had so much fun at the FashionEASTa event this past weekend! There were so many looks in the fashion show that I was loving and it was so great to be able to shop them right after the show! The discounts at the stores were also a great incentive to purchase, each of us made a few that day! The weather ended up holding out for us, some how we really lucked out considering it rained the day before and after! This outfit was a last minute decision because it was colder than expected but it ended up being a great choice. This is the first time I have worn a bodysuit and I loved how I did not have to keep adjusting or tucking it in, it was only $35 and something I will wear again this summer! This jean jacket is under $100 and the wash is really nice, there is a little bit of stretch too so it wears very well! These white pants have made an appearance before and I am still just as obsessed with them!

Luck of the Irish

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
When I saw this dress I knew it was everything I love, casual, comfortable and classic. It is a ribbed material and the cropped long sleeve top is attached to the tank dress underneath and the bell sleeves are a great addition. It comes in 4 other colors that are all beautiful as well. The dress is true to size and I highly recommend it! This necklace is really on trend right now and will go with everything, it is under $5 and a great addition to your jewelry collection. The two necklaces come apart so you do not always have to wear them together! I got this purse when there was a big sale and it is going to be on my shoulder all summer long, it is the pantone color of the year and one of my favorite colors!

Taking the Plunge

We have been super lucky with the weather here in Maryland so I thought I would take advantage of it! I am loving this lace up top, it is more risqué then my usual but sometimes it is good to change it up! Adding a lace bralette or tank underneath is always a great option if you don't want to take the plunge like I did! This top will also be so cute with a skirt, I am thinking something gold for the holidays! This is a new denim brand I found and I could not believe the prices, they are the best I have seen and the quality is great. They do not have this exact pair anymore but I linked a pair below that is the same style with no distress. These pumps are $40, fit true to size and after wearing them for a full night my feet did not feel like they were going to fall off...enough said! To make sure I was not freezing at night I added a fur vest and it looked so cute. Links are below to purchase this look!

Fur Vests I love: This/And This

Chicago Wedding

This past weekend we were in Chicago for a wedding, which was so beautiful!
Coincidentally the Chicago marathon was the same weekend so we were able to cheer on Steve's brother who ran it and did an amazing job. In-between those events we were able to spend some time with friends in the city and the weather was absolutely perfect! We were running late to the wedding so pardon the photos, but the links are below to purchase the look.
