Baby Shower

It was so much fun planning my sisters baby shower, I was so happy to be able to do that for her! I am obsessed with all the little details that go into planning a party and everything came together beautifully, the shower was at Hillendale Country Club in a beautiful room that looked out over the golf course! Everyone had a wonderful time and my sister had an amazing day! We are about a month away from meeting the little one and I could not be more excited, not knowing the gender has been so hard but it will all be worth it in the end!
I got this skirt a few weeks before the event and after trying it on I decided it would be perfect! I paired it with a basic long sleeve black top and burgundy OTK boots for a pop of color! My top is only $15 and super versatile, the skirt is under $100 and my boots are only $50! It was a cold day so I was covered just enough! Links to purchase this look are below as well as some photos from the baby shower! I hope to have a great night and an even better week!

Happy Birthday B!

How is Beni already 5 years old? In a small way I feel like I understand what it is like for a parent (of a human) to watch their little one grow up. We got him at 7 weeks old and he has been though so much with us, from picking him up in San Francisco to driving back to LA to taking cross country trips to moving back to Maryland and now taking trips to Chicago, he has experienced so much in his life. When I am not with him I miss him and when I am with him I am happy. No matter what he is loving, playful and a joy to be around. When people see him sticking his head out of the car window they can't help but laugh and people love to stop us on the street to say hi (or they are terrified and cross to the other side of the street!). I love taking him to play frisbee and seeing how happy he is when I give him a new toy. I can only hope that we have many more years together. Happy Birthday Beni, I love you endlessly!
I adore looking at our engagement photos and it was mandatory that B was apart of it. Our family friends have a horse farm and they were so sweet to let us shoot there! I decided to go with two different looks. One was a classic white lace look with burgundy booties and the other was a sweater and a burgundy skirt, Steve matched his shirt to my burgundy theme so altogether we were very cohesive! Both looks were super comfortable and affordable, everything fits true to size and can be worn so many different ways! I often wear the lace up sweater with a pair of jeans and you have seen the skirt on here before. I am still waiting for a time to wear the white lace top again, it is so pretty! Links to purchase both looks are below!

Fri - YAY!

Happy Friday!
I have been decorating our home little by little throughout this week and it is getting me so excited for Christmas. It is so cozy with pine scented candles, garland, wreaths and lights. I am so excited to get a tree this weekend and decorate it to really make it feel like the holidays!
I have worn this cardigan multiple times since I got it, it is oversized and so comfortable! I have worn it with a black jumpsuit, a bodysuit and leggings as well as denim and a tank, it is a muted camo print with a little bit of a glitter in the fabric. It has pockets and is thicker which are both great features for this time of year. I put links to purchase it below!
I am so excited to share my eyebrow microblading experience! I have to go back for a follow up appointment so I will be posting all the details right after the new year. It will be full of information for you so stay tuned!
I hope you have a great weekend!

I Love NYC

I had the best time in NYC last weekend. I was able to spend some time with some friends I grew up with as well as meet some amazing women at a fashion and beauty conference. Not only did I meet amazing people with big dreams but I got to listen to a variety of speakers who are successful entrepreneurs that followed their dreams and created their own path. Including a few of my favorites: Jacey Duprie from Damsel in Dior, Christine Cameron from My Style Pill and Catt Sadler from E! News and the Catt Walk. The whole day was so inspiring and I am so happy I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and into a room with people who are passionate about the same things as I am.

My look was put together by making sure that I would be comfortable, fashion forward and able to layer incase it was too hot or too cold. My top is actually a bodysuit and there are cut outs down the arms, my favorite thing about bodysuits is that everything stays in place and you don't have to fuss a lot! This skirt is suede and I am loving the double lace up look, it is sold out in this color but you can add yourself to the restock list or purchase it in the black color way! You already know the story on how I got this Tory Burch coat and yes I wear it everywhere. My purse is a few years old but always a great winter bag year after year, I found it online being resold and it is under $100! Lastly, my boots are from last year but I found a very similar pair for under $100 as well! Links to purchase my whole look are below!

Rehearsal Dinner Outfit

I had the best weekend celebrating my close friends tying the knot. Steve and I went to the rehearsal dinner at Liberatore's on Friday night then the wedding on Saturday night (more on the wedding coming up later this week). This look was so comfortable and perfect for the occasion, this skirt is suede and my favorite color right now! I wore it for half of our engagement photos as well but in a different way (that will also be on the blog later this month when we get the photos back)! This top is so soft and so versatile, it criss crosses in the front so I added a black bodysuit under it to cover up a little more. It could be really cute for a night out with nothing underneath of it as well! I could not wait to wear these pumps I got a few weeks ago, they are true to size, super comfortable and really unique! But the best part about them is that they are on sale! All of these pieces can be worn multiple different ways and I intend on doing that all winter long! Unfortunately this top is sold out but add yourself to the waitlist to get notified when it comes back in stock. Links to purchase this whole look are below!
