Wedding Attire

My sisters wedding day was amazing, there was so much love surrounding her and Chris and I could not be happier for them! They are such a great couple and I am so excited for their future together! The countdown until the baby gets here is on and the anticipation is killing me!
Somehow they got the most beautiful and warm day possible in February so I was excited that I was able to wear this outfit! My dress is only $40 and fits true to size, it is so comfortable and I love the print as well as the transparent sleeves! I added red pumps that are also only $40 and it was the perfect pop to go with the look! Altogether this look was only $80, I can't wait to wear it again!
Links to purchase are below! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Baby Shower

It was so much fun planning my sisters baby shower, I was so happy to be able to do that for her! I am obsessed with all the little details that go into planning a party and everything came together beautifully, the shower was at Hillendale Country Club in a beautiful room that looked out over the golf course! Everyone had a wonderful time and my sister had an amazing day! We are about a month away from meeting the little one and I could not be more excited, not knowing the gender has been so hard but it will all be worth it in the end!
I got this skirt a few weeks before the event and after trying it on I decided it would be perfect! I paired it with a basic long sleeve black top and burgundy OTK boots for a pop of color! My top is only $15 and super versatile, the skirt is under $100 and my boots are only $50! It was a cold day so I was covered just enough! Links to purchase this look are below as well as some photos from the baby shower! I hope to have a great night and an even better week!

Birthday Suit

I don't worry too much about age because it is just a number but it does make me reflect on the past and makes me think about what I want to accomplish before the next one. Having my birthday five days after Christmas and two days before the New Year has always been hard because it gets lost in the craziness of the holidays. But it is also nice to become a new age and move into a new year at almost the same time, it is a fresh start every year I get older to do better, to be better and to follow my dreams. My 27th year of life was very challenging in many ways but so amazing in others and it has taught me to go with the flow because "this too shall pass". In a way I was excited to turn 28 because I could put it all behind me, I am more focused in on what I want in every aspect of my life more then ever and I am ready for it. Personally, this year is going to be the biggest one yet, which I could not be more excited about. My sister is having a baby and it is all I have ever wished for her, she is going to be the most amazing mom and I cannot wait to watch it all happen. I am so excited, I watched my best friend become an aunt and it has been so amazing, she loves her nephew more than anything and I can't wait to be a part of the club! A few months after I become a first time aunt I will become a wife, planning for that day has had its ups and downs but I couldn't be more excited. Bring it on 2017...I am ready for you!

My outfit for my birthday was a last minute decision because of the craziness of the holidays and traveling but it ended up being super comfortable and cute! Luckily, I was shopping online at Zara before I left and found this tank and velvet blazer, they went together so well and they both fit true to size! The tank has a knit back and the front is asymmetrical and leather with lace trim at the top, I love how there is a little shine to it! The blazer was also a great purchase, it is comfortable and will go with anything, unfortunatley it looks like it is sold out but I linked a similar one below. I found my choker necklace when we went to the outlets at The Limited, they all came in one package but can be worn separately which I love! I decided to pair my floral velvet booties with my velvet blazer and I am so glad I did, they are so comfortable and fit true to size! Links to purchase this look are below!

The Perfect Tunic

This tunic is what dreams are made of, it is the perfect length, fit and fabric. I am always on the hunt for easy pieces like this where I can slip it on with leggings and boots then add my scarf and coat and get out the door! I am wearing a size medium and the fit is right on point, I love the slits down the sides which helps the tunic fit perfectly around the body. I have worn it a few times but switched out these boots with grey booties which dressed it up a little and gave it a different feel. Olive Ave boutique is offering free shipping right now so head to the link below to purchase this tunic and check out the rest of their adorable clothing! I hope everyone is getting through this week as smoothly as possible before the holiday! Christmas is so close!

Sweater Over Dress

Happy Wednesday! I have seen people rocking the sweater over dress look and I was intrigued right away. I love trying new trends and finding new ways to wear the clothes I already have and I did just that with this look. I love all of these pieces individually so being able to wear this dress but in a new and unique way was so exciting! The floral is perfect for this time of year and it is only $25. I have said it many times before but I got this crewneck sweater last year and I have it in black and white because I love it so much. They both can be worn so many ways and they are staples in my winter wardrobe. These boots have quickly become on of my favorites, they are so comfortable and the color goes with almost everything! I have linked this exact look below but I bet, if you go in your closet, you will be able to recreate this look with what you have already as well! All you need is a shift dress, a sweater and your favorite boots.

I was nominated twice for 1) Best use of photo/still image and 2) best blog in the Mobbies 2016 Awards through the Baltimore Sun! It would mean so much to me if you could take a second and vote, you don't have to create a log in and you can just vote in those two categories if you want to!

Wedding Details

This past weekend one of my favorite couples tied the knot and we had the best time! All of the preparation and stress was so worth it because it truly was the perfect night. Lauren looked like the most perfect princess there ever was, she is flawless. They got married at the Engineers Club and it was stunning...if you are ever in Baltimore you have to go tour the building. I found my dress about a month before the wedding and had it hanging in my room just waiting to wear it. It totally complimented the feel and essence of the the venue and I am obsessed with it! It is under $100 and great for any formal event! I did have to size up because it runs small but other then that it fits like a glove! I wore the same nude pumps as I did for the last wedding I went to and they worked perfect! Links to purchase this whole look are below!

NYE Part I for Under $100!

The count down to the New Year begins! My birthday is at the end of the year so, for me, it is a new year and a new age all at once! 2015 has brought a lot of changes but I feel stronger and more focused than ever to achieve my goals. I hope you feel the same way!
With that I bring you my first NYE look. The second one will be posted early next week! This is a more causal look while the other is more dressy, and they both are under $100! Depending upon what your NYE plans are, I wanted to have some options for you to choose from. Of course sequins is a great way to ring in the New Year so they both have some shimmer and shine!
This top is SO fun, the black part is velvet with a sequins overlay reminding me of a mermaid! The contrast creates such an appropriately festive look! The bottoms are under $30 and fit is true to size. You have seen these pumps before but they are a great addition to this look! Links are below...Happy NYE Shopping!
