Happy Friday! 

Since I started my new job I have been super overwhelmed to the adjustment. The work load is much heavier then my last job so I have been trying to find a way to manage everything. I don't think that this is different from what other people go through but I do think we all handle it differently. At first I was getting super stressed because I was looking at all the work that had to be done instead of the work that I needed to get done in that single moment. I have learned to do one thing at a time and stay focused on the present, it has helped and I am getting there so hopefully soon I will feel much better about it all! How do you balance work and life?!

A casual and cute look like this one is my favorite! I love being able to look great but still appropriate for everyday living! I am always searching for balance (in every aspect of my life) and this outfit is just that! A denim jacket is a staple in my closet, especially for spring, because it matches everything and is the perfect layering piece! My top is oversized but fits true to size and it is under $50! It is short sleeved so it will be so cute as we move into warmer weather! I have had these leggings for a few years and they have held up great, they are at a higher price point but it is so worth it! Lastly, I can't say enough good things about these shoes. Sweater Dress Coziness

The holidays are always a crazy time and I always look forward to things slowing down at the beginning of the year...well that is not happening this year. I have decided to leave my day job and move into something I am more passionate about...social media management! I am so excited to be taking this role on to help businesses grow their customer base and following! I am also planning my sisters baby shower, anticipating the arrival of my first niece or nephew, and planning my wedding and honeymoon. So many exciting things are happening that I don't mind that life is not slowing down. Life is crazy, fun, challenging and ever changing and like I have said...2017 is going to be the best year yet! 

There is nothing like a super warm and comfortable sweater dress when it is snowing and/or freezing cold outside. I love waking up and throwing something on that is both cute and functional. It is under $100 and it runs true to size, it is not clingy to the body and could be belted as well! The turtle neck is oversized and drapes nicely which means it is not too tight around the neck which I love. Obviously my obsession with a neutral piece continues but it could also be warn with a pop of color in the leggings or boots! Days like today make me wish I could put this exact dress on in different colors everyday of the week. I decided to wear leggings instead of tights because they are warmer and much more comfortable, these exact ones are linked below, they are not see through at all and fit great all day. The Perfect Tunic

This tunic is what dreams are made of, it is the perfect length, fit and fabric. I am always on the hunt for easy pieces like this where I can slip it on with leggings and boots then add my scarf and coat and get out the door! I am wearing a size medium and the fit is right on point, I love the slits down the sides which helps the tunic fit perfectly around the body. I have worn it a few times but switched out these boots with grey booties which dressed it up a little and gave it a different feel. Wearing my Black Friday purchase on this rainy Tuesday! I got this scarf at the Ralph Lauren outlet for $20! It is so soft and warm, I love plaid anything right now so I know I will wear it all winter long! I paired it with my go to crew neck tunic top, black leggings and my Tory Burch riding boots. I could not find this exact one online but I found a few other similar scarves and linked them below as well as the rest of my outfit.

Friday OOTD

Happy Friday...a super easy and casual OOTD today! I am obsessed with tunic sweaters because they are so easy and cozy! I love how this one has the lace detail, it is from last year but still one of my favorites. This color is also an obsession of mine lately, easy to tell by my Instagram account (invisiblecrowne_blog). I paired it with black leggings and my Tory Burch riding boots and was out the door!
