Winter White & Cold Shoulder

I am back home to my normal routine after an amazing trip. A lot changed since I have been gone...I turned a year older and we moved into a new year. A fresh start is always a good idea and I have no doubt that this year will be the best one yet. There are so many good things happening this year and I cannot wait for it all, no doubt it will be super busy but that is what makes it exciting. I am not a huge fan of resolutions but I am a fan of making sure I am better and I do better then I did before. I am pushing myself to go outside of my comfort zone and I am determined to create the life I have been dreaming about. I have all of the tools, resources and ambitions to do it, I just need to stay out of my own way and take the risks needed to get myself there. It feels like all of the missing parts and blurry spots have come together and things are clearer then ever. Now I need to put in the work to make all my dreams happen for myself. 

This look was one of my favorites from my trip. I wore it the night we went to dinner with all of Steve's cousins and I was so comfortable in it! This top is a little different then most cold shoulders because the cut outs are up higher then usual, I like how it plays on the trend in a new way! It is super soft and the price point is right around $50! My sisters boyfriend got me that hat for Christmas and it is so versatile and comfortable. It is from Lululemon but I cannot find it on their site (he got it in store) so I linked a similar one below with the rest of this look!

Wearing my Black Friday purchase on this rainy Tuesday! I got this scarf at the Ralph Lauren outlet for $20! It is so soft and warm, I love plaid anything right now so I know I will wear it all winter long! I paired it with my go to crew neck tunic top, black leggings and my Tory Burch riding boots. I could not find this exact one online but I found a few other similar scarves and linked them below as well as the rest of my outfit.

Friday OOTD

Happy Friday...a super easy and casual OOTD today! I am obsessed with tunic sweaters because they are so easy and cozy! I love how this one has the lace detail, it is from last year but still one of my favorites. This color is also an obsession of mine lately, easy to tell by my Instagram account (invisiblecrowne_blog). I paired it with black leggings and my Tory Burch riding boots and was out the door! Renee C Poncho/Rag and Bone Black Legging Pant/ Tory Burch Riding Boots/Kate Spade Marryanne Purse/Mac Red Lipstick/Mac Red Lip Liner

My first must have is a riding boot. You can wear it with leggings, jeans, skirts or dresses and they always look great. Riding boots are comfortable, fashionable and a great winter staple!

My second must have is a skinny pant that can also be worn as a leggings. These Rag and Bone black pants do just that, they are soft and and are a perfect fit and go with any length top.

My third winter essential is a poncho. All you have to do is wear a tank underneath and you have your outfit. It is a great change from the everyday sweater and it is so comfortable and warm.

My fourth essential is a red lip. Seeing that my outfit is so neutral I wanted to add a pop of color, it really added to my look. Winter time can get a little dreary so this is a great way to brighten it up!

Lastly, an everyday bag is a must. During the winter we need to carry around gloves, hats ect. so this Kate Spade quilted purse will be on my arm all winter long. I bought this bag last year on Cyber Monday and it is still one of my favorites!
