Winter White & Cold Shoulder

I am back home to my normal routine after an amazing trip. A lot changed since I have been gone...I turned a year older and we moved into a new year. A fresh start is always a good idea and I have no doubt that this year will be the best one yet. There are so many good things happening this year and I cannot wait for it all, no doubt it will be super busy but that is what makes it exciting. I am not a huge fan of resolutions but I am a fan of making sure I am better and I do better then I did before. I am pushing myself to go outside of my comfort zone and I am determined to create the life I have been dreaming about. I have all of the tools, resources and ambitions to do it, I just need to stay out of my own way and take the risks needed to get myself there. It feels like all of the missing parts and blurry spots have come together and things are clearer then ever. Now I need to put in the work to make all my dreams happen for myself.
This look was one of my favorites from my trip. I wore it the night we went to dinner with all of Steve's cousins and I was so comfortable in it! This top is a little different then most cold shoulders because the cut outs are up higher then usual, I like how it plays on the trend in a new way! It is super soft and the price point is right around $50! My sisters boyfriend got me that hat for Christmas and it is so versatile and comfortable. It is from Lululemon but I cannot find it on their site (he got it in store) so I linked a similar one below with the rest of this look!

Lace It Up

The lace up trend has been around for a little while and I love that it is being translated onto sweaters for the winter! It is such a cute detail that can be dressed up or down. This particular one is shorter in the front and a little longer in the back which is a great cut to wear with denim. It is also super warm and cozy which is necessary when purchasing sweaters. I wear them on repeat so I love when they are versatile and comfortable. I have linked the lace up sweater i have on below as well as a few others that are super affordable. My denim and shoes are also linked  below, I could not find my exact bootie but I linked a very similar one that is 40% off!
The weekend is so close I can feel it, a lot of fun Christmas parties planned before we head to Chicago!

Camel and Plaid

There is something amazing about putting on a cozy sweater and heels, I love the balance of comfort and chic in one look. Camel colored anything is one of my go to's, it matches everything and is a great contrast with darker hair colors. I also really like the mock neck, it is not as intense as a turtle neck but gives the illusion of one. This particular sweater comes in 7 other colors, it is in stock in all sizes and the best part...it is only $40!
I have had these jeans for over a year now and I love them, they wash so well and the fit is on point! I linked a similar pair below that are on sale. J. Brand's jeans are such great quality so when purchasing them you know you will have them for a long time. It is a great investment piece that should be on your Christmas list!
When I saw these plaid heels I fell in love with them but they did not have my size. So I kept an eye on them and I was able to snag them for $40! Unfortunately this color is no longer available but there is a red plaid, it is the same price and perfect for this holiday season...there are still some sizes left  so get them ASAP!
