I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! A three day weekend is always so nice, especially when wedding planning, we were so productive and I am starting to get excited about my upcoming nuptials!

Sunday Blues

Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday! We got some rain (and hail) yesterday and it brought the temperature down quite a bit. I have a feeling winter is not over yet, unfortunately. Work Wear

My new job has been such a whirlwind! It is so different from my last job so I have been adjusting this past week! I am loving the challenge and I feel like it is a perfect fit for me. I get to meet with clients, learn about their business and create a social media schedules that help their businesses grow. I love the creativity as well as the interaction with my clients, they are passionate about their businesses and it is nice to be apart of that!

I am eating some fruits, raw vegetables and soups dependent upon how I feel because I believe in feeding your body what it needs. This is the perfect way to jumpstart a healthier lifestyle after a busy last few months!

Outerwear Love

Happy Friday! My best friend (and bridesmaid) from college is making her way to Baltimore from Chicago right now and I am so excited to see her. She is a flight attendant so she pops into town every once in a while! We are going to go to DC tomorrow and participating in the Women's March, it is totally outside of my comfort zone but best friends don't let best friends travel to a unfamiliar city alone, so I am going to go and see what it is all about. I do not know what to expect but I am going with an open mind and I hope the experience is one that helps me become better informed, educated and more understanding of what I can do to make a difference. This jacket is a perfect staple piece, it is neutral and matches everything. It is appropriate for the spring, fall and winter months which makes it so versatile! I might even wear it to DC tomorrow, it is great for layering! The best part is that it is on sale, it is now only $49, such a great price for a beautifully constructed jacket! Lace It Up

The lace up trend has been around for a little while and I love that it is being translated onto sweaters for the winter! It is such a cute detail that can be dressed up or down. This particular one is shorter in the front and a little longer in the back which is a great cut to wear with denim. It is also super warm and cozy which is necessary when purchasing sweaters. I wear them on repeat so I love when they are versatile and comfortable. I have linked the lace up sweater i have on below as well as a few others that are super affordable. Camel and Plaid

There is something amazing about putting on a cozy sweater and heels, I love the balance of comfort and chic in one look. Camel colored anything is one of my go to's, it matches everything and is a great contrast with darker hair colors. I also really like the mock neck, it is not as intense as a turtle neck but gives the illusion of one. This particular sweater comes in 7 other colors, it is in stock in all sizes and the best part...it is only $40! 

I have had these jeans for over a year now and I love them, they wash so well and the fit is on point! I linked a similar pair below that are on sale. J. Brand's jeans are such great quality so when purchasing them you know you will have them for a long time. It is a great investment piece that should be on your Christmas list! 

When I saw these plaid heels I fell in love with them but they did not have my size. So I kept an eye on them and I was able to snag them for $40! Unfortunately this color is no longer available but there is a red plaid, it is the same price and perfect for this holiday season...there are still some sizes left  so get them ASAP!
