OOTD

Wearing my Black Friday purchase on this rainy Tuesday! I got this scarf at the Ralph Lauren outlet for $20! It is so soft and warm, I love plaid anything right now so I know I will wear it all winter long! I paired it with my go to crew neck tunic top, black leggings and my Tory Burch riding boots. I could not find this exact one online but I found a few other similar scarves and linked them below as well as the rest of my outfit.

Other neutral plaid scarves I am loving right now: here, here, here and here

Sweater Over Dress

Happy Wednesday! I have seen people rocking the sweater over dress look and I was intrigued right away. I love trying new trends and finding new ways to wear the clothes I already have and I did just that with this look. I love all of these pieces individually so being able to wear this dress but in a new and unique way was so exciting! The floral is perfect for this time of year and it is only $25. I have said it many times before but I got this crewneck sweater last year and I have it in black and white because I love it so much. They both can be worn so many ways and they are staples in my winter wardrobe. These boots have quickly become on of my favorites, they are so comfortable and the color goes with almost everything! I have linked this exact look below but I bet, if you go in your closet, you will be able to recreate this look with what you have already as well! All you need is a shift dress, a sweater and your favorite boots.

I was nominated twice for 1) Best use of photo/still image and 2) best blog in the Mobbies 2016 Awards through the Baltimore Sun! It would mean so much to me if you could take a second and vote, you don't have to create a log in and you can just vote in those two categories if you want to!

Layering

This time of year it is so hard to figure out what to wear! With the weather being all over the place I like to put on a couple of layers so I can adjust as needed. This white crewneck sweater layered underneath my jacket is my favorite basic right now, so much that I bought it in black as well. There is a half zipper on the bottom of the back and the fit is perfection. The breathable casual fabric is so comfortable and it will be a great staple going into the Spring, I never want to take it off! I bought this jacket last year and still find myself grabbing it when I am on the go, I could not find the same exact one but I linked a similar one that is on sale! I love that this is a baseball cap with a twist, the faux leather is a great touch. These ripped jeans are a great staple that are at an amazing price point! Same thing with the ankle booties, they are $40 and so comfortable. There is quilting on the backside of the shoe and zippers on both sides of the foot which is a unique detail.
Everything is linked below. Hope you have a great weekend!
