Weekend Outfit Inspo

First of all, I know this is not a groundbreaking, never would have thought of it look but it is a classic. It is a great go to for Sunday brunch or dinner with the girls because you can really dress it up or down depending on the accessories. And...this embroidered bib is a huge trend right now so this creates a classic yet trendy look that is a summer staple. This top would work with a cardigan at work, with a light washed denim for a more western feel or how I have it styled below! These white pants are amazing, the fit is right on point and they have just the right amount of stretch. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new pair, especially since they are only $60! I got my shoes at Nordstrom Rack a few years ago but I linked a similar pair below that are on sale for $40!

Freakin' Weekend

Last weekend was my girlfriend's birthday so we celebrated by going to a local restaurant for some drinks. It was a low key event so I wanted to wear something casual. This top spoke to me when I saw it, I love the colors and the print. My first thought was "what am I going to wear under it?" And initially, I thought a tight white tank top would be fine but when I tried it the shirt was clinging. I then tried on a more flowing white tank and it worked so much better. It allowed the top to lay just how it is supposed to and was super comfortable. My jeans are only $64 and the fit is great. I like how there is a minimal distress on them and are high waisted so they look great with a more cropped top also! My peep-toe booties are from last season but I linked a similar pair below that are only $40! As I already stated, this purse will be making many appearance this summer for many reasons but mostly because it goes with almost anything! Happy 1st Birthday Invisible Crowne!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!            

Today my blog is one year old! Thank you so much for following my fashion journey through 2014. I can't wait to keep it going through 2015 and continue to do giveaways, tutorials and much more!!(keep scrolling and reading for my first giveaway for 2015)

The weather is definitely starting to change and get colder so going outside with just a jacket is not going to cut it. You need to have the basics covered; ears, neck and hands to stay warm and to be able to last out there!

My coat is by Andrew Marc, I love it because of its mixed media! I can dress it up or down so it is perfect for any occasion! It is from South Moon Under but not on the website so contact me if you are interested and I will try to find it for you!
