This is my last week before I become an aunt and I am anxiously awaiting the babies arrival! I cannot wait to see if it is a boy or girl and I am so excited for the next chapter of my life as an aunt! So many surprises are coming within the next week and it is all so exciting! My sister and I are so close but I can only imagine this experience is going to bring us and our family together in a way that we could never expect! I have a feeling there are going to be way too many photos taken...I need to add more storage on my phone! Any tips from aunts out there?! This dress is so perfect for so many occasions! It covers up just enough but is still super cute, it fits true to size and it comes in 3 colors! Outerwear Love

Happy Friday! My best friend (and bridesmaid) from college is making her way to Baltimore from Chicago right now and I am so excited to see her. She is a flight attendant so she pops into town every once in a while! We are going to go to DC tomorrow and participating in the Women's March, it is totally outside of my comfort zone but best friends don't let best friends travel to a unfamiliar city alone, so I am going to go and see what it is all about. I do not know what to expect but I am going with an open mind and I hope the experience is one that helps me become better informed, educated and more understanding of what I can do to make a difference. Let me know if you will be there as well!

This jacket is a perfect staple piece, it is neutral and matches everything. It is appropriate for the spring, fall and winter months which makes it so versatile! I might even wear it to DC tomorrow, it is great for layering! The best part is that it is on sale, it is now only $49, such a great price for a beautifully constructed jacket! It also comes in black and on sale for $52! I got this plaid blanket scarf when I worked in retail a few years ago and it is still one of  my favorites! It is hard to see in these photos but the white top I have on has a pleated peplum detail, it is a little bit longer and really cute. It comes in a few different colors too! Sunflower Fields

This past weekend Steve and I were checking out places to do our engagement photos and decided to stop by the sunflower fields down the street from my parents house. They are so stunning! It is such a great reminder of how beautiful Maryland is and how lucky I am to have grown up here. They go on for as far as the eye can see and I am so glad we were able to see them again this year! 

Tie front tops are one of my current obsessions, they define the waist and help create an hourglass silhouette. The one I am wearing is from Forever 21 and was only around $12! Unfortunately I was not able to find it on their website to link for you guys but below I have linked a bunch of tie front tops that are perfect for fall below. All of them would be so cute with a skirt or high waisted pants, it is a great dressed up/casual look for a dinner date with your man or cocktails with the girls! I think I am going to have to snag the plaid one, it is so cute and would be great for any fall activity! It doesn't hurt that it is on major sale!

Over the knee boots are a great addition to a fall and winter wardrobe because it is a different option other then a riding boot or a bootie. They go with pants or leggings as well as dresses so they are very versatile. This pair is very affordable at $45 if you are a VIP member and $75 if you are not, that is why I love Justfab, the more you shop there the better deals you get. They are so comfortable, they come in standard as well as wife calf (I have on the standard). This dress is one of my favorites right now, it is currently sold out but if you click on "notify me/special order" you can either get a notification when it is back in stock or you can order it from the designer. I checked and it is available through the designer, if you choose that option there is no obligation to buy. They will let you know when it is in your cart and you can purchase it if you decide you want it! My choker is no longer available but I added a very similar one if you like the look. This whole look is perfect for a night out with the girls, I can't wait to wear these boots all winter long!

Happy Thursday! 

There was such an overwhelming response to this romper and for good reason, it is so cute, the fit is great and it is super flattering! I have worn it a few times and get so many compliments every time I do! This is one of the more expensive things I have posted in a while but this piece is definitely worth it. If it is way to expensive I have also linked the red color way of this exact romper and it is on sale! It is just as cute but at a better price point, can't beat that! Right now all sizes in both colors are available so get it while you can! I decided to size up when ordering and I am glad I did. There is a zipper down the side as the closure and, from my experience, I usually need to size up when that is the case. I also find that when buying rompers I need to size up to make sure the bottom half fits correctly, so considering both of those things I made the right decision. If you look at the reviews they are pretty mixed so if you are looking to purchase it check out your other romper sizes and compare that to what you usually get to make the best decision for yourself! 

I use Nippies for this romper since the cut out is there and they work great, the tie acts as a bra in a way and holds everything in (and up) very well! I have dressed it up with heels like shown here but I have also dressed it down with a bun on my head and strappy sandals...either way it looks great! 

It is National Lipstick Day today so I also wanted to link my current favorite lipstick that I am wearing all the time now> Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in Seduction. I have tried a few matte lipsticks and this is by far my favorite. It goes on so smooth and does not dry out or crack on your lips, it is long lasting and is a great natural color for everyday. It does take a little while for it to become matte so I recommend putting it on a little while before you go out but it is the best. I am definitely going to get it other colors!
