Black Friday

My sister and I decided to go Black Friday shopping this year and we had a very pleasant experience, we went to the Queenstown Premium Outlets a little later in the day and the lines were not bad at all! We got a lot of Christmas shopping done and spent some quality time together so it ended up being a great time! When getting dressed for the day I considered a few things:
1) Comfort - You have to be comfortable in what you are wearing. There is a lot of walking and you don't want to be adjusting yourself all day.
2) Layering - There is a lot of temperature change when walking in and out of stores so you want to be able to take layers off and on easily!
3) Trying On - Just incase you need to try a few things on you want to wear something that is easy to slip on and off quickly.
After all of those considerations I decided on a super soft long sleeve top with cut out details, a vest, distressed black denim and flat fringe booties. The black and white theme was also perfect considering the day! Check out my previous Instagram post to see one of my purchases from that day! Links to purchase this look are below!

OOTD

Wearing my Black Friday purchase on this rainy Tuesday! I got this scarf at the Ralph Lauren outlet for $20! It is so soft and warm, I love plaid anything right now so I know I will wear it all winter long! I paired it with my go to crew neck tunic top, black leggings and my Tory Burch riding boots. I could not find this exact one online but I found a few other similar scarves and linked them below as well as the rest of my outfit.

Thankful

I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving, I sure did. I got to see so many family members and we spent a lot of quality time together. Sad it is over but Christmas will be here before we know it. The weather was all over the place because we were on the water so this sweater and OTK boots were perfect for the occasion. The plaid contrast on the sides of this top is such a great detail and my OTK boots were like another layer over my legs to keep me warm. These boots are the perfect heel height for day time activities and so comfortable, I wore them for 10 hours and they felt great the whole time! They also come in a beautiful burgundy color as well! Links to purchase this whole look are below!

I am loving cyber Monday...all of my favorite stores are doing some type of sale! What purchases have you made today?!

Happy Friday...I mean Wednesday!

Happy Friday...I mean Wednesday!
It is so nice to have the rest of the week off of work, isn't it?! Finishing up a few things then off to the shore to spend Thanksgiving with the family. We usually spend the day skeet shooting, catching up, eating (of course) and relaxing. Steve and I spend Christmas with his family in Chicago so its great to have this time with my side of the family!
This lace up top is such a great piece...It is so comfortable and the length is great for jeans or leggings! There is a wait list so put yourself on that and then check out a few of my other favorite lace up tops! Links are below. Safe travels!

Rose Gold Bomber Obsessed

Bomber jackets are one of my top favorite trends right now. I love the fit, all the different style options and how easy it is to put together a chic and fashion forward look! This tonal bomber jacket is so beautiful with the satin contrast. It is under $100, has pockets and comes in a black version as well. There are so many ways to style it but I decided to have the jacket as the focal point of the look and keep it as simple as possible. This necklace was the perfect accessory to go with this look, it is adjustable so it is super versatile. I am wearing a black bodysuit under the bomber jacket and it has been on repeat for a while now, it is so comfortable and goes with everything! Links to purchase this whole look are below!

Screaming Girl

Happy Friday! I love seeing all the different small businesses in Baltimore and PNTD-PRNTS is one of my favorites, art on clothing is right up my alley! I love the use of colors and the creativity in the designs, they really are one of a kind. I was so excited to style this tank because it is such a stand out piece. Adding in a blue vest to help bring out the colors of the print and a bunch of texture in my cardigan really pulled it all together! I couldn't help but add these sunglasses as my stand out accessory. These pants have been a staple in my closet, I love how they are high waisted and they fit like a glove. These boots are new and so comfortable, they are the perfect for a casual look like this. I have been wearing them with everything! This look is liked below...the cardigan and vest are unavailable but I linked a few others that I think you will love just as much!

Sweater Over Dress

Happy Wednesday! I have seen people rocking the sweater over dress look and I was intrigued right away. I love trying new trends and finding new ways to wear the clothes I already have and I did just that with this look. I love all of these pieces individually so being able to wear this dress but in a new and unique way was so exciting! The floral is perfect for this time of year and it is only $25. I have said it many times before but I got this crewneck sweater last year and I have it in black and white because I love it so much. They both can be worn so many ways and they are staples in my winter wardrobe. These boots have quickly become on of my favorites, they are so comfortable and the color goes with almost everything! I have linked this exact look below but I bet, if you go in your closet, you will be able to recreate this look with what you have already as well! All you need is a shift dress, a sweater and your favorite boots.

Pops of Color

Monday came too soon...but thats okay because I had such a great weekend! I wore this outfit last week and it was so comfortable. This dolman sleeved ribbed cashmere top is so comfortable and at a surprisingly affordable price point! I will be wearing it all winter long, it is a great layering piece and you can even wear it off the shoulder! With such a neutral outfit I love to add a pop of color, and this time I decided on a monochromatic look. Burgundy is my go to color this fall so I am incorporating it into my outfits as much as I can! I have had these pants for a while now and I love having a lighter wash option. They are only $25 and fit true to size. Links to purchase this whole look are below!

I Love NYC

I had the best time in NYC last weekend. I was able to spend some time with some friends I grew up with as well as meet some amazing women at a fashion and beauty conference. Not only did I meet amazing people with big dreams but I got to listen to a variety of speakers who are successful entrepreneurs that followed their dreams and created their own path. Including a few of my favorites: Jacey Duprie from Damsel in Dior, Christine Cameron from My Style Pill and Catt Sadler from E! News and the Catt Walk. The whole day was so inspiring and I am so happy I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and into a room with people who are passionate about the same things as I am.

My look was put together by making sure that I would be comfortable, fashion forward and able to layer incase it was too hot or too cold. My top is actually a bodysuit and there are cut outs down the arms, my favorite thing about bodysuits is that everything stays in place and you don't have to fuss a lot! This skirt is suede and I am loving the double lace up look, it is sold out in this color but you can add yourself to the restock list or purchase it in the black color way! You already know the story on how I got this Tory Burch coat and yes I wear it everywhere. My purse is a few years old but always a great winter bag year after year, I found it online being resold and it is under $100! Lastly, my boots are from last year but I found a very similar pair for under $100 as well! Links to purchase my whole look are below!
